Build a character. Discover it was you all along.
People find it hard to describe themselves and easy to describe a character. Heroic Horizons uses that. It looks like building a fantasy hero — a people, a calling, a history — and along the way it asks the questions a character sheet never thinks to ask.
At the end, an old wandering sage writes your Chronicle — a reflection drawn entirely from what you wrote, in your own words, read aloud in his voice. No score. No verdict. No advice you didn't ask for.
Everything you write stays on your device. No accounts, no sign-ups, no tracking, no advertising. Nothing you write is stored on our servers or anyone else's. You can erase all of it whenever you like, and we hold no copy.
Heroic Horizons is a reflective writing exercise — not therapy, not treatment, and not an assessment of any kind. It borrows a practice from narrative therapy: naming a difficulty, setting it outside yourself, and hunting for the times it did not win. Then it dresses that practice in dice.
If something you write here raises more than you expected, talking with someone you trust — or a qualified professional — is a reasonable next move.
The narrator's voice is generated by AI. It is not a recording of a real person.
