The short version. What you write in Heroic Horizons stays on your own device. There are no accounts, no sign-ups, and no tracking. Nothing you write is stored on our servers or anyone else's. The only time your words leave your device is when you ask for your Chronicle to be written or read aloud — and even then they are used to produce it and then discarded.
Nothing that identifies you. Heroic Horizons has no accounts, no login, no email collection, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers. We do not know who you are and we have no way to find out.
Your answers, your character sheet, your quests, and your saved past journeys are stored on your device only, using your browser's or your phone's ordinary local storage. They are not uploaded, backed up, or synchronised anywhere.
You can erase all of it at any time: use Begin again inside the app, or clear the app's data through your device settings. Once erased it is gone, and we hold no copy to restore.
There are exactly two moments when anything leaves your device, and both happen only because you asked:
Our server keeps no copy of either. It holds nothing, stores nothing, and writes nothing down — it passes the request along and returns the answer. If you never ask for a Chronicle, nothing you write ever leaves your device at all.
Those two companies handle the text under their own privacy terms: Anthropic and ElevenLabs.
Our server runs on Cloudflare, which — like any web service — processes your IP address in order to deliver the response and to limit how often a single source may make requests. This is standard network operation and is not used to identify or profile you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
The Wanderer's voice is generated by artificial intelligence. It is not a recording of a real person and does not represent any real individual.
Heroic Horizons is a reflective writing exercise. It is not therapy, not treatment, not medical or psychological advice, and not an assessment of any kind. It does not diagnose anything and it does not evaluate you. If something you write here raises more than you expected, please consider speaking with a qualified professional or someone you trust.
Heroic Horizons is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because the app collects no personal information at all, there is nothing for us to hold, review, or delete.
If you purchased Heroic Horizons, that purchase was handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your payment details, your card, or your billing address.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Substantial changes will be noted in the app.
